We are committed to develop the best potential in every child for India’s progress and for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
St. Paul’s Vidyalaya was founded on 7 June 1985 in Chittoor town, Andhra Pradesh with 110 students. It is an English medium school catering to the children in the poorer section of Chittoor town. The school provides good standard of instructions in written and spoken English language. It had a humble beginning where lessons began in a shed. Kindergarten classes and formal education up to Standard VII were conducted on rented premises until 30 July 2008 when we have our own building.
The student population has hit the peak of 320. Over 20 years, the prayer request on every child’s lips was to have a permanent place. God listens to every child’s prayer. Now, we have eight new classrooms to house these children. Another eight more classrooms will be added under the second phase construction of the School Building project. We hope to have these new classrooms ready for the next students’ intake in June 2009.
By that time, the school should be well equipped to conduct classes up to Standard X, which prepares students to take the State of Andhra Pradesh Board final examinations. With 16 classrooms, the capacity for school admission can be raised to 400. We conduct daily morning devotions on the sacred text written in the Holy Bible and prayer at the beginning of each new day. We have developed close ties with Singapore teacher friends who come regularly to help raise the teaching standard of instruction in the areas of English, Science and Mathematics. Under the flagship of St. Paul's Vidyalaya, the school structure is organized into SPV Kindergarten (for children aged 4-5 years old); SPV Primary School (Standard I to V) and SPV High School (Standard VI to X). In the near future, we hope to establish a SPV Junior College for Plus 1 and Plus 2 classes.

Progress of SPV Building Construction—Roof top level completed
A Dance of Christmas Joy, 2009—The Annual Christmas Concert was kept indoor at SPV School on 15 December 2009 as Chittoor town observed total “bandh” for a united Andhra Pradesh. Students from Standards XI and X danced to the ever popular tune of the Oscar winning film, Slum Dog Millionaire. Let there be peace on earth as we usher in the King of kings and Lord of lords, our Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do and plan to do for a new year, 2010
